Singer Park Bo-ram (30) passed away.
According to her agency Xanadu Entertainment and the music industry on the 12th, Park Bo-ram died the afternoon before and the police are investigating the cause of death.
Xanadu Entertainment said, “We have to share sad and heartbreaking news,” and added, “Park Bo-ram suddenly left us late on the night of April 11.”
He continued, “All of our fellow artists and employees at Xanadu Entertainment are deeply mourning the deceased in great sadness,” and added, “It is even more heartbreaking to deliver this sudden news to the fans who support Park Bo-ram.”
The agency said, “We earnestly ask you to refrain from speculative reporting so that the bereaved family and colleagues who are in mourning can commemorate the deceased,” and added, “Funeral procedures will be prepared after consultation with the bereaved family and a funeral will be prepared. Once again, the deceased “I send my deepest condolences on his final journey.”
Park Bo-ram, born in 1994, appeared on Mnet's audition program 'Superstar K2' in 2010 and garnered attention by advancing to the top 11 finals with her outstanding singing ability.
He officially debuted in the music industry in 2014 with 'You've Become Pretty' and was loved by music fans, ranking 19th on Melon's annual chart that year. Since then, Park Bo-ram has been working steadily, releasing songs such as 'Pretty Person', 'Want to Be in Entertainment', and 'Don't Try Too Hard'.
Last February, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut, they released a new single 'It's Good' with Huh Gak, whom they met on 'Superstar K2'. On the 3rd of this month, she released her new song ‘I Miss You Already’.
At the time of the release of 'It Would Be Good' in February, the agency announced that Park Bo-ram would be active, saying, “Starting with the release of this new song, Park Bo-ram is preparing a full-length album.”
