The movie 'Crime City 4' set a new record for the highest advance reservation volume in the series about a week before its release.
'Crime City 4' ranked first in the overall reservation rate rankings with a reservation rate of 69.9% (as of 9:30 a.m. KST) and a pre-order volume of 230,037 tickets on the 18th, six days before its release.
This is the highest figure in the ‘Crime City’ series ever. The previous highest-rated work was 'Crime City 3', which recorded a reservation rate of 50.9% and 227,093 tickets as of 6 days before its release.
'Crime City 4' is the return of monster detective 'Ma Seok-do' (Ma Dong-seok) against villain 'Baek Chang-ki' (Kim Mu-yeol), a former special forces mercenary who runs a large-scale online illegal gambling organization, and IT industry genius CEO 'Jang Dong-cheol' (Lee Dong-hwi). The film depicts a crime-fighting operation carried out by Jang Yi-soo (Park Ji-hwan), Kwangsoo University & Cyber Team, and will be released on April 24.
