Singer Park Goon was moved to tears thinking about his deceased mother.
In the recent filming of SBS FiL and SBS M's 'Park's Table Setting', Park visited Mangwon Market in Seoul to find the first guest for the filial piety table.
Before moving to the market, Park said, “I think I go to the traditional market every time I think of my mother. There is probably no one in the country who has as many mothers as me. The mother in the traditional market is my mother.”
He continued, “Even now, when I hear the word mother, I feel like crying and I think of my mother. All mothers must have suffered, but my mother really suffered a lot. Because she lived in hardship, there are so many things she couldn't do or eat. Nothing. “When I become successful, do good things, and go to good places, the first thing that comes to mind is my mother,” he said, looking emotional as he recalled his mother.
Park wanted to invite someone who looked like his mother as a guest at his first filial piety table. Regarding the dish he is planning, he said, “My hometown is Eonyang-eup, Ulju-gun, Ulsan. When it comes to Eonyang, the famous thing is bulgogi, but I have never tried Eonyang bulgogi while I was in my hometown. I made bulgogi as my first dish with the intention of treating it to my mother who has never tried the delicious Eonyang bulgogi. “I chose it,” he said, preparing bulgogi.
‘Park’s Table Settled’ will premiere on SBS FiL and SBS M at 5:30 pm on the 24th. This episode was partially pre-released on the YouTube channel SBS FiL and Trotbo Lago at 6 pm on the 17th as 'Park's dinner is ready'.
