According to distributor Sony Pictures on the 24th, Lee Jang-woo will participate in Korean dubbing as Garfield in 'Garfield the Movie.'
‘Garfield the Movie’ is a rough adventure that begins when Garfield, a domestic cat who has never been outside before, is thrown into the outside world for the first time. The Korean Garfield, who attracted a lot of attention by revealing his dubbing voice and silhouette on the 18th, was revealed to be Lee Jang-woo.
Lee Jang-woo, who has been active in all fields across dramas and entertainment programs, will play the voice of Garfield, who is tough but has a superficial charm that cannot be hated. In the English version of 'Garfield the Movie,' Hollywood actor Chris Pratt played the role of Garfield.
Lee Jang-woo said, “It's an honor to act as the voice of the main character of an animation that I've always really liked. I was comfortable and felt a sense of kinship because I was able to play a character I thought was very similar. I hope you can enjoy Lee Jang-woo's version of Garfield to your heart's content in theaters in May. “I hope so,” he said, raising expectations.
