SBS' 'The Story of That Day' (hereinafter referred to as 'Kkokomu') sheds light on the inside story of the Pocheon pesticide serial murder case.

'Kkokomu', which will be broadcast on the 25th, is an episode of 'Secret Powder – Pocheon Pesticide Serial Murder Case'.

It was midwinter in December 2014, and several men were surrounding a grave. One by one, they pick up shovels and start digging. After some time, a pipe got caught on the tip of the shovel. The owner of the coffin was a woman who suddenly died of pneumonia. Why was her body taken out of this world 22 months after her burial, after her funeral had already been completed?

The body was moved to the National Forensic Service. The corruption had already begun and there was not much evidence left. But the truth had to be found within this. The autopsy doctor nervously began analyzing the very little remaining blood and organ tissue.

It was in 2011 that something suspicious started happening. A man was found dead in his home. A beverage bottle containing pesticide was found next to his body, and the man's cause of death seemed to be a suicide by poisoning due to continued business failure.

Mr. Noh, the ex-wife who divorced after receiving shocking news, visited the funeral home. Amidst the ex-mother-in-law who was bleeding and the grieving family, perhaps because of the great shock of losing her son, Mr. Noh held the funeral more diligently than anyone else. But he had something that no one else knew. Before her ex-husband died, Mr. Noh went to the house when no one was there.

And soon after, another man died. It was Mr. Noh’s remarried husband. One day, he suffered from an unknown lung disease and was hospitalized and discharged repeatedly until he eventually died. Could it be that the successive deaths of her ex-husband and current husband have nothing to do with Mr. Noh?

At this time, there was someone who was suspicious of Mr. Noh's actions. The insurance fraud investigation team. Ms. Noh received all the death insurance money from her divorced first and second husbands. A decisive inquiry was made to the insurance company. Mr. Noh's mother-in-law also died of lung disease in the same year as her husband.

An investigation began immediately, but there was no clear evidence. Detective Lee of the Gyeonggi Office, who was investigating the surrounding area to find evidence, caught a crucial clue. It is said that the mother-in-law of Mr. Noh, who died, once drank a nourishing tonic with the lid open. There is a possibility of poisoning.

However, it is not easy to find out which of the numerous poisons was used and how. While digging into the case for several months, a powerful poison was found. It is a deadly pesticide, also called ‘Blue Devil’. It is a fatal poison that destroys the lungs and ultimately leads to death. Whether it will be possible to unravel the clues in a case that only has circumstantial circumstances, what exactly Mr. Noh has committed, and the full story of the chain of events will be revealed through the 'Jang Trio' Jang Hyeon-seong, Jang Seong-gyu, and Jang Do-yeon.
