Actress Han So-hee explained the false rumor that she was accepted into a French university.

Recently, a netizen revealed the SNS DM (direct message) exchanged with Han So-hee.

In the message, Han So-hee said, “As you know, ideation and conversion (practical type of art college entrance exam) were a system that did not suit me, and from then on, I gave up on domestic universities and created a portfolio.”

He continued, “At first, I dreamed of going to Central Saint Martins (a famous British fashion school) or Parsons (an American fashion school) without even knowing the subject, but I chose Beaux-Arts (a French art school) after hearing that it costs hundreds of millions of dollars a year. “There was no way I could get a loan because I didn’t go to a domestic university,” he explained.

He said, “(At the time) I needed 20 to 30 million won in my bank account, and the housing and living expenses for me to go (study abroad) right away were ridiculously short. Since I had started all over again when I was 20, I had to pour all of what I earned from my part-time job into study abroad centers. “It was pouring water into a bottomless pot, but the story was edited and distorted in entertainment,” he added.

This appears to be Han So-hee's own explanation for the false rumor that she was accepted into a French university that was spread online.

Han So-hee appeared on the web entertainment show 'Na Young-seok's Nabulnabul', which was released in January, and mentioned her educational background. Han So-hee said, “I applied to (university) school, but I didn't go. I applied to a French school, but I couldn't go because I didn't have 60 million won in the bank account in my name. The visa wasn't issued.”

After this video was released, netizens began pointing out errors in Han So-hee's remarks. In particular, the comments of netizens who are currently studying abroad in France or have studied abroad in France in the past raised question marks over the credibility of Han So-hee's remarks.

They pointed out that Han So-hee's remarks did not match the actual bank account balance that French student visa applicants must prove, and also cast a suspicious eye on the fact that Han So-hee did not reveal the name of the school to which she was accepted. She also mentioned that in order to be admitted to a French university, she must have a certain level of French proficiency. As for Han So-hee, she has never been shown speaking French.

Han So-hee, who was at the center of attention last month due to her love life, is currently preparing for the release of the movie 'Snowfall' and season 2 of the Netflix original 'Gyeongseong Creature'.
