‘Youn Yuh-Jeong Retrospective Exhibition’ opens at the American Academy Film Museum



A retrospective exhibition of actress Yoon Yeo-jung will be held at the Academy Film Museum, which hosts the American Academy Awards.

It is said to shed light on Yun Yeo-jeong's half-century-long acting career.

In this retrospective, which will be held for 9 days starting on the 17th, a total of 8 films will be screened, including 'Minari', the work in which Yoon Yeo-jeong became the first Korean to win the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, and her debut work 'Hwahwahwa', 'Grandmother Gye-chun', and 'The Woman Who Kills'.

Yeo-jeong Youn plans to visit the Academy Film Museum in LA and meet with audiences.

When introducing the retrospective, the museum said it was an honor to present the amazing works created by Yun Yeo-jeong for 50 years.

Yeo-jeong Youn is a symbolic figure and role model for many Korean actors, and explains that she continues to push the boundaries of storytelling through the characters she plays.
