On December 3 last year, Park Soo-jin, a mother of two children and a competent office worker in her 40s, was murdered in an apartment in Seoul. The suspect who was arrested at the scene immediately after the incident was her husband, Mr. Choi, a lawyer at a large law firm. It was revealed that the two were separated due to divorce proceedings at the time.
20 days before the incident, Sujin had been staying with her daughter in a separate residence near her husband's house. And on the day of the incident, he received a call from his husband asking him to take his daughter's bag, so he went to her husband's house and was attacked.
In particular, the husband was shocked when he went out after killing Sujin and called 119 to report that his wife was injured.
119 Su-jin, who was taken out by an ambulance, was found to have at least seven fissures on her head and signs of strangulation. Choi stated that he killed her accidentally during an argument with his wife over money.
He said that during the struggle, he swung a stick that had been used as a cat toy and strangled him in the process of subduing him. In particular, he said that when he came to his senses, he did not remember what had happened and that he did not know that his wife had died.
However, Sujin's bereaved family raised suspicions of intentional murder. Without arguing, Mr. Choi used violence and even strangled him with the intention of killing him. Additionally, it is incomprehensible that Mr. Choi did not immediately call 119 and left the scene after contacting his father, a former member of the National Assembly, first.

Sujin was preparing for two divorce lawsuits and collecting 500 pieces of evidence. This material was full of information that gave a glimpse into the couple's life.
Sujin, whose husband left for New Zealand with their children in 2018, was assigned to work in a country close to New Zealand. However, their conflict continued there as well.
And her husband, Mr. Choi, made the children call Sujin “mother witch” and sent them strange messages. And she also accused Sujin of abusing her child.
