Actors Kang Ha-neul, Yeom Hye-ran, and Seo Hyun-woo meet in the movie '84 Square Meters'.

'84 Square Meters' is an unpredictable thriller that follows Woo-seong (Kang Ha-neul), a young man who has succeeded in buying his own home in an 84-square meter apartment, but is plagued by unidentifiable noise between floors. '84 square meters', which stimulates curiosity with its unique title, refers to the area of an apartment equivalent to 32 pyeong, the most popular so-called national average, and has a symbolic meaning that shows the reality of real estate in Korea.

In the play, Kang Ha-neul plays ‘Woo-seong’. 'Woo-seong', an office worker in his 30s, has succeeded in buying his own home, his lifelong dream, by saving up savings, stocks, loans, and even his mother's garlic garden, but he is struggling in the reality that it is difficult to afford the high-interest loan interest. Expectations are high for highly immersive acting, from Kang Ha-neul's realistic life acting to extreme emotional changes due to stress, as he portrays a character who experiences sharp conflicts with his neighbors due to inter-floor noise that gets on his nerves every night.

Yeom Hye-ran played the role of Eun-hwa, the resident representative who wants to protect the apartment. ‘Jin-ho’, the man who lives upstairs from ‘Woo-seong’, is played by Seo Hyun-woo. 'Jin-ho' is a character who searches for the source of inter-floor noise with 'Woo-seong', adding to the tension of the play.

Kang Ha-neul, Yeom Hye-ran, and Seo Hyun-woo will play the roles of a member of the Yeongkkeul family, a representative of the residents, and a man living upstairs, respectively, and will show dense acting and a powerful ensemble that takes place within the apartment.

'84 Square Meters' was directed by Kim Tae-jun, who created 'I Just Dropped My Smartphone.' The movie will be released on Netflix after completion.
