Group SHINee members Key and Minho have renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as SM).
On the 9th, SM announced, “Key and Minho have signed a new contract based on the deep trust they have built with SM over a long period of time, and will continue to engage in diverse activities with SM's full support.”
In addition, he said, “I am happy to continue my precious relationship with Key and Minho. As we have renewed our contracts based on our deep trust, we will provide generous support in many ways so that Key and Minho can shine even more as SHINee members and solo artists.”
Key and Minho said through their agency, “SM is where we have been together in every moment from SHINee's beginnings to the present. I think we are where we are today because of the company's staff who have worked together for a long time. We will continue to demonstrate good synergy with SM to further improve as artists. “We want to create a new and diverse starting point. We are sincerely grateful to our fans who always believe in and support us, and we will always show you a good side.”
SHINee, celebrating their 16th debut anniversary this year, is a team that has received great love from fans around the world for their outstanding skills and unrivaled music color. Starting with their debut song ‘Noona is so pretty’, they released numerous hit songs such as ‘Lucifer’, ‘Ring Ding Dong’, ‘Sherlock’, and ‘View’. SHINee, who successfully completed their Asian tour with a solo concert in Hong Kong last month, once again realized their strong global popularity.
Among SHINee members whose contracts are due for renewal, unlike Key and Minho, Taemin and Onew signed new contracts with Big Planet Made Entertainment and Griffin Entertainment, respectively. Although individual activities will be carried out by each agency, SHINee group activities will continue smoothly with SM as the center.
